This light-weight silky Moisturizer with Extended Release (ER) is powered by Oleosome technology. What are Oleosomes and why are they beneficial for our skin? Found naturally in Safflower seeds these tiny, micron-sized spheres of emollient plant oil (safflower seed oil) and vitamin E, oleosomes act as a natural delivery system, releasing nutrients upon contact with the skin. Oleosomes steadily release their contents for an ongoing delivery of bio actives and long-lasting hydration and are very healing for our skin barrier.
This barrier-supportive moisturizer utilizes Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oleosomes as a natural, time-release delivery system to encapsulate two clinically studied actives: Hydrolyzed Plukenetia Volubilis Seed Extract (NaturePep® Sacha Inchi) and Tetradenia Riparia Leaf Extract (Agascalm™). The oleosomes gradually release these ingredients—an omega-rich peptide complex and a stress-response botanical extract—enhancing bioavailability while minimizing irritation. This delivery method not only prolongs hydration but also supports skin barrier function, making the formula ideal for sensitive, stressed, or aging skin.

Returns and exchanges can be made within 30 days from the date of purchase with approval from IOKA Skin+Science. The cream doesn’t need to be intact. To request a return and refund or exchange, please send an email to Olga@iokaskinscience.com to request approval. If the return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 10 business days of receipt of the product by IOKA Skin+Science.
